With the Free Agency upon us, it seems like a good time to have a catch-all thread for posts like this:
QUOTE The Chicago Bulls are also interested in acquiring the rights to Spanish league power forward Luis Scola from the San Antonio Spurs. Bulls forward Andres Nocioni is not likely to be involved in a trade to the Spurs. The Bulls may offer guard Chris Duhon if he is not included in a larger deal. This guys seems like a sleeper Pax would go after. |

Hoopsworld compliments Noah's summer league play:
QUOTE While much of the attention at the Orlando Summer League has been focused on the Michael Beasley / Derrick Rose story, my Pro Training Center colleague David Thorpe and I found ourselves marveling at how many balls Joakim Noah gets his hands on during every possession. On both offense and defense, Noah gets tips, deflections, keeps balls alive and is involved in almost every rebound or loose ball opportunity at both ends. Nice to see some good things said given how schooled he got against Beasley. We all know about his offensive limitations but as long as you understand those limitations and have an up-tempo system which plays to his skill-set you are talking about a pretty solid player. The Tribune also reported that the Bulls and Noah are working on him improve his endurance as he often would tire out very early in games. |
