Looks like JR's on his way to Denver, in what appears to be another salary dump. At least we get 2 2nd rounders out of it...
QUOTE Before Griffin’s signing becomes official, the Bulls will send shooting guard J.R. Smith to Denver for two future second-round draft picks and the nonguaranteed contract of point guard Howard Eisley, who will then be released. One potential delay is waiting for physicals to be completed in the trade with New Orleans. The Bulls acquired Smith from the Hornets, along with power forward P.J. Brown, in exchange for Tyson Chandler. They can’t unload Smith until that deal becomes official. http://www.dailyherald.com/sports/bulls.asp |

yeah..Pax is a terrible GM. wow...some things just amaze me around here..I gotta say. Why is everyone crying about JR Smith? because they saw a 2 minute YouTube video of him dunking all over the place? no... anyone his size and age that shoots 37 % from behind the arc has a lot of potential. The dunks just prove he has potential to have an Inside and outside game. Even if we did not play him 1 minute this year, I would have liked to keep him. He is worth a lot more than 2 2nd rd picks that really have little shot to amount to anything. We seen what Tim Thomas did for Phoenix in the postseason. This move was uncalled for. We did not even give the kid a shot. The least we could have done is take a look at him. Sometimes a change of scenery is all that is needed. |
