Looks like JR's on his way to Denver, in what appears to be another salary dump. At least we get 2 2nd rounders out of it...
QUOTE Before Griffin’s signing becomes official, the Bulls will send shooting guard J.R. Smith to Denver for two future second-round draft picks and the nonguaranteed contract of point guard Howard Eisley, who will then be released. One potential delay is waiting for physicals to be completed in the trade with New Orleans. The Bulls acquired Smith from the Hornets, along with power forward P.J. Brown, in exchange for Tyson Chandler. They can’t unload Smith until that deal becomes official. http://www.dailyherald.com/sports/bulls.asp |

Do you honestly believe JR and Skiles would get along? ![]() Another excellent post that bears repeating. JR Smith couldn't get along with players coach, Byron Scott, could someone explain to me how Smith all of the sudden would work well with one of the most demanding and relentless coaches in the NBA? |

Another excellent post that bears repeating. JR Smith couldn't get along with players coach, Byron Scott, could someone explain to me how Smith all of the sudden would work well with one of the most demanding and relentless coaches in the NBA? Sure this is a valid point. Smith, during his tenure with NO/OK, represented everything that is wrong with young players in the NBA. But I thought that being traded by a mediocre team after sitting on the bench for half of his second season may have been enough to give Smith a good kick in the ass and change his ways. And even if this didn't prove to be true, he still seemed coveted enough to garner more than 2 second round picks. He was a very valuable trading chip. The dumping of such a valuable chip signals to me Pax is, regrettably, done with trades. |
