Oh man, I'm stuck at work right now but I'm all jacked up to watch tonights opening night game. I'm actually making it a part of my halloween plans as I am forcing my friends to ensure the game will be on at the halloween party I go to!!!

Now Lets Kick this season off right headbang.gif

Posted by: southsider2k5 Oct 31 2006, 01:58 PM

This ought to be a fun one. You know the Bulls feel like they should have beat Miami in the playoffs, and want to prove their worth to the world, as does Mr Wallace.

Posted by: Balta1701-B Oct 31 2006, 02:01 PM

And Miami is a lil' banged up (J Williams is out IIRC). And Miami didn't bother playing hard last year until they turned on the switch in the playoffs. And Miami gets rings tonight.

Time to start turning doubters into believers kiddies.

Posted by: Pippen Aint Easy Oct 31 2006, 03:15 PM

What time is tonight's game? We are on Mountain time now so only an hour behind Chicago. Is it 7:00pm CST?

Posted by: iWiN4PreP Oct 31 2006, 03:42 PM

mann cant wait
happy halloween

Posted by: Chisoxfn Oct 31 2006, 04:56 PM

Game starts @ 4:30 Pacific Time according to my DVR. That would mean 6:30 Central time. My guess is that it won't actually start till 5ish or 7 (central time).

TNT's coverage starts at 5:00 Pacific time, so yes. However, there's introductions and a ring ceremony, so I ain't gonna guess exactly when tipoff will be.

Posted by: WHarris1 Oct 31 2006, 07:16 PM

This ceremony is kinda strange, maybe it's just me.

Posted by: danman31 Oct 31 2006, 07:17 PM

So does Miami have any shot now that they have their rings?

Posted by: Chicago Bulls Franchise Oct 31 2006, 07:21 PM

DENG WITH THE FLUSH

LUOL RUNNING THE COURT!

Gordon freaking abuses Wade, then draws a foul that somehow wasn't called...

Posted by: SoxFan1 Oct 31 2006, 07:30 PM

Ben Gordon has officially broken Dwyana Wade's ankles.

How is that an offensive foul? Phew.

Posted by: WHarris1 Oct 31 2006, 07:31 PM

Nice ball movement results in a PJ jumper.

7-6 Bulls

DWade is a freaking flopping clown

2 fouls on Shaq, Zo in the game.

Posted by: WHarris1 Oct 31 2006, 07:34 PM

Even when Ben Wallace isn't putting up numbers I just love his presence

2 and a foul.

Big Ben with the SWISH on the FT.

Deng owning the boards.

Antoine Walker has to be the most overrated player in the last 10 years. I always thought he was garbage.

We are out hustling Miami on the boards.

Posted by: danman31 Oct 31 2006, 07:37 PM

Great start. I'd hate to start 0-1 and a loss to a team on their ring night would be a poor way to start. Bulls looking good. I think Deng will have a breakout season and is playing like it so far.

Posted by: Hinrich=Ratings Oct 31 2006, 07:38 PM

Hinrich persuaded me to buy league pass.

Posted by: WHarris1 Oct 31 2006, 07:40 PM

Gordon defends, does nothing...WHISTLE tongue.gif

Gordon looking dumb on both ends.

STFU Wade, how would that not be a foul on you?

Posted by: SoxFan1 Oct 31 2006, 07:45 PM

Another Heat turnover. Good defense so far.

Posted by: Brian Oct 31 2006, 07:45 PM

Posted by: WHarris1 Oct 31 2006, 07:47 PM

The one where the old Lebron says, "Michael never trained in a pool." is way off cuz Jordan used to try and run in a swimming pool all the time. I remember reading and seeing it in some of those videos.

Yeah, the thought of him shooting anything (shooting does not include layups or dunks) scares the crap out of me. Maybe he has range in the paint...ok no, more like the inner paint. That said, he plays solid D, is good on the break (will need to improve on FT shooting to make that fully effective), and can rebound very well.

Sefolosha looked very, very good in scrub minutes. He had a couple nice jumpers, some nice moves, showed rebounding ability, and had a sick steal and finish.

Duhon was nailing his jumpers as always but the announcers said something of an injury...anyone got anything?

Wallace dominated on D, combine him with Tyrus at times and that's scary interior D.
